A raid is a supply operation
NPC farming means repeatedly attacking camps for resources. A successful farming plan considers the fight, the carrying capacity, the travel time, the food consumed, and the cost of replacing losses.
Scout before choosing a force
Review the garrison and defenses. The supplied world includes camps from level 1 through 10. Higher levels need more preparation; a troop count that worked on a weaker camp does not establish a safe force for a stronger one.
Range and carrying capacity do different jobs
Ballistae have 1,400 base range and are described in the rules as a camp-farming option. Transporters have 5,000 base carrying capacity each. Siege power can help win a fight, but carrying capacity determines how much you can bring back.
Measure the real return
- Record the resources returned and the total travel time.
- Account for march food costs and any losses.
- Check whether the report suggests a safer target or a better composition.
- Recheck the target as garrisons and stores recover.
No fixed lossless army is claimed here. Results depend on the target, defenses, research, heroes, troop mix, and current conditions.
